Edmonton have found Colorado just too strong in the Stanley Cup playoffs but can hopefully stay alive in the series by winning Game 4.
The Oilers were competitive on home ice on Saturday and may just be able to outwork the Avalanche with the crowd behind them again at Rogers Place.

Colorado have been ante-post favourites for Stanley Cup glory since the start of the season and look a good bet to end up justifying that tag.
JT Compher put them in front at 12:42 in the third period over the weekend, just seven seconds after Oilers defenseman Evan Bouchard had hit the post.
Valeri Nichushkin had earlier hit a double and Mikko Rantanen completed the scoring with a late empty-netter.
“Our team is confident on the road and at home, it doesn’t matter,” declared coach Jared Bednar.
“We preach, regardless of the venue we’re playing and what kind of environment we’re playing in, it’s still the same details that we need.
“You have to be a little bit better on the road, obviously, because they’re going to get a little bit of juice from the home crowd.”
The Avalanche enjoyed a clean sweep against Nashville in round one and claimed three away wins in a 4-2 defeat of St Louis, so they are adept at playing on the road.
However, after losing forward Nazem Kadri to injury early on in Game 3, we’re hoping Colorado just look after themselves a little bit here.
