Kick Off: 2000, 09/06/2018

Stadium: Groupama Stadium

France will be seeking a third quick win in World Cup warm-up matches when hosting the USA in Lyon and should be up to achieving that feat.

Les Bleus have already seen off the Republic of Ireland 2-0 and Italy 3-1 in the last couple of weeks.

Against an inexperienced American team, we’re taking 11/2 for a 3-0 home win in our France vs USA betting tips.

A Look At France’s Betting Odds

France are many pundits’ favourites for outright glory at Russia 2018, as they bid to go one better than when beaten finalists at Euro 2016.

Finishing four points clear of Sweden and Holland in a tough qualifying group was a decent effort and friendly results have been generally encouraging.

A 3-2 loss to Colombia on home turf was the only blip among four wins and a 2-2 draw against Germany in Cologne.

The goals have been spread around a number of attacking players, but Chelsea forward Olivier Giroud has bagged his fair share.

Looking at the France vs USA odds, we like 3/1 for the former Arsenal ace to break the deadlock here.

A Look At USA’s Betting Odds

The USA are rebuilding after failing to reach Russia 2018, only finishing fifth of six in the CONCACAF World Cup pool.

Interim head coach Dave Sarachan will have been buoyed by last Saturday’s brave first-half showing against the Republic of Ireland in Dublin.

Hamburg striker Bobby Wood put the visitors ahead from close range just before the break after Chelsea defender Matt Miazga had flicked on a free-kick.

However, Graham Burke levelled on 57 minutes and Alan Judge snatched a last-gasp winner in stoppage time.

Although producing plenty of energy, the USA did struggle to keep possession at times and that problem will be exploited even more by Les Bleus.

Ousmane Dembele should be fit, fresh and raring to go after an injury-interrupted first season with Barcelona.

Let’s add 9/2 for him to get the last goal in this game to our France vs USA betting predictions.
