Olympic Odds - Specials Odds

Beijing will become the first city to host both the Summer and Winter Games after its Olympic debut in 2008.

The XXIV Olympic Winter Games will finally get underway with the Opening Ceremony on February 4 — until the Closing Ceremony on February 20 — and nearly 3,000 athletes will compete in 15 disciplines across 109 events.

Throughout the competition, make sports bets on the Beijing Olympics.

Three sites for different events to bet on

While the Chinese capital is the official host city of the Games, the venues are spread over three areas: Beijing with several rinks available for ice hockey, curling, figure skating and speed skating, Yanqing — a mountainous district 75 kilometres northwest of Beijing for alpine skiing, luge and bobsleigh events, and Zhangjiakou for cross-country skiing, biathlon, and snowboarding, which is the furthest destination as it is located another 100 kilometres beyond Yanqing.

Of the 13 event venues, only the national speed skating oval was recently built in Beijing, while the existing venues were renovated for the 2022 Winter Olympics.

Betting on medals at the 2022 Beijing Olympics

Several countries are used to finishing at the top of the medal table, such as Norway and Germany (Europe) and Canada and the United States (North America).

Four years ago in South Korea, Norway finished on top of the medal table with 39 medals, eight more than Germany. In the two previous Olympics, the host country — Russia in 2014 and Canada in 2010 — would end up with the most medals. Make bets on the nation that will win the most gold medals at the Winter Olympics in Beijing.

Recommended Winter Olympics Betting

Many countries have developed a special aptitude for a specific sport. This is the case, for example, with the Netherlands who won the majority of medals in speed skating. We recommend being highly aware of the geography to make clever bets.

Another type of bet recommended is to check the current sporting events that also feature as Olympic sports. The winter season is in full swing, especially for skiers racing to win Crystal Globes for the FIS World Cup. Bet on the winner of the H 2021/22 World Cup with Bwin.
