Wembley will host their customary NFL game during week four of the 2014 season, with the Oakland Raiders playing spurious hosts to the Miami Dolphins in the first of three matches at the London stadium this year.
Naturally, the UK clash dominates the TV schedule and we’ve got both it and the two other aired outings covered in the shakedown below:
Miami Dolphins @ Oakland Raiders
While this is a new experience for the Raiders, the Dolphins played in the first ever NFL game in the UK when they lost 13-10 to the New York Giants in 2007.
Neither side has enjoyed their start to the year, with one win between them from the opening three tussles.
Offensively the Raiders are the worst in the league, statistically speaking, and have lost ten of the last 11 against the Dolphins.
Bet: Dolphins (-4.0) to win @ 10/11
Philadelphia Eagles @ San Francisco 49ers
No team in the NFL’s history had ever won its first three games of the season from a 10-point deficit in each until the Eagles came along this year.
One of three undefeated teams left in the league, the Bird Gang are the second highest scoring team in the NFL on average.
The 49ers, on the other hand, have started slowly for the second year running. They owned the same 1-2 record at this point last year before winning 11 of their last 13 games. However, repeating that feat will be tough against their high-flying opponents.
Bet: Eagles to win @ 2/1
New Orleans Saints @ Dallas Cowboys
Drew Brees, the Saints’ esteemed quarterback, is enjoying another strong start to the season. Only one man in the league betters his completion rate of 70.9 per cent and his 863 passing yards ranks fifth.
In that form the 35-year-old should relish a reunion with the Dallas Cowboys, against whom he’s won three straight, tossing for at least 350 meayards each time.
Bet: Saints (-3.0) to win @ 87/100
