The search for value hots up on Sunday as the options available to football betting fans are restricted by the fewer matches taking place in comparison to Saturday.
Still, we here at news.bwin.com/en/ have identified three teams who may not be at the shortest prices to triumph, but should pick up maximum points if the formbook is to be trusted.
Backing our three selections with the free £25 bet received for registering with bwin could see punters land an impressive £147.21 at odds just shy of 5/1 if all three oblige.
Everton to beat Stoke @ 67/100
Everton have recorded back-to-back victories for the first time this season and should be confident of picking up a third win on the bounce at home to Europa League-weary Stoke City.
Wins against Wolves and Bolton have lifted David Moyes’ men away from the Premier League relegation battle and they will be looking to take adavantage of Stoke’s horrible record after Thursday night European action.
The Potters have performed marvellously to qualify for the round of 32 but it has come at a cost: their previous four Europa League matches have been followed by four Premier League defeats by an aggregate score of 14-1.
The Blues have been one of the few teams to consistently get to grips with Stoke since their promotion in 2008, winning three and losing just one of their six meetings, and at odds of 7/10 look decent value to prevail once more.
Osasuna to beat Real Betis @ 21/20
Osasuna are on the verge of the European places in La Liga and can cement their push for the top six with a win against Real Betis.
Betis lie in 13th place, just one point above the relegation zone, and have their recent awful away run to thank for that precarious position.
Betis have lost their last five league trips, scoring just once (in a 4-1 defeat to Real Madrid), to leave them looking over their shoulder at the drop zone.
They have drawn seven blanks in the league and won’t be confident of finding the net at Osasuna, who have kept four clean sheets in six unbeaten home matches so far this season.
Any price at odds against for a home win here must be good enough to take.
Lyon to beat Toulouse @ 18/25
Lyon’s home reverse to Rennes last week was a blow to their Champions League aspirations but they can get back on track with a win over Toulouse in Ligue 1 on Sunday evening.
That defeat was preceded by five straight home wins and Lyon remain firmly in the title picture in France.
Toulouse are level on points with their hosts, but that is largely down to their home form, which has seen them keep five clean sheets in a row.
On the road it’s a completely different story, though, as Toulouse have won just once since an opening-day success at bottom side Ajaccio. On top of that, they haven’t won in four away matches, failing to score in their last three.
The two contrasting records, plus the fact I rate Lyon as the better side, point to a home win at odds of 7/10.
