We will be praying for goals in these three matches on Sunday to land ourselves an over 2.5 goals treble at odds slightly under 3/1. We need Scottish Champions Celtic to get the treble started with a goalfest at Dundee United before the Premier League takes center stage when Man Utd face Swansea and Everton go to Wolves.
Dundee United v Celtic – Over 2.5 Goals at 18/25
Dundee United’s last five home matches have seen over 2.5 goals while Celtic have been in sensational form on the road this season. They have won 6-0 and 3-0 recently and average 2.39 goals per game on their travels this season. Dundee United average 1.44 goals per game themselves and with the chance of European football still on the horizon they will need to go out and attack Celtic. An open match filled with goals should be the result.
Manchester United v Swansea – Over 2.5 Goals at 37/100
Manchester United need to win to keep their title hopes alive while Swansea will certainly not go to Old Trafford to defend. United were involved in a 4-4 thriller against Everton last weekend and with them needing three points and a shed load of goals to catch Manchester City’s goal difference, Sir Alex Ferguson will send his troops out with one message – score goals. Swansea play really attractive football and that is sometimes their downfall, but it also means they should pose a threat. Yet whether Swansea score on Sunday or not, Manchester United will probably get the three goals required on their own.
Wolves v Everton – Over 2.5 Goals at 31/50
Wolves are already relegated and with nothing to play for but their spirit and desire cannot be faulted following a 4-4 draw at Swansea last week, coming from 3-1 and 4-2 down. They will want to put on a good performance for their home fans in their last Premier League home game so an open game looks in the offing. Their defensive record at home this season has been dire, conceding two goals or more in their last eight games (three or more in six of those). Everton come into the game looking to secure seventh spot and are in good form themselves in front of goal. Before a 1-1 draw at Stoke in midweek they had scored four goals in each of their last three Premier League games and in Nikica Jelavic they have a real top class goalscorer.
The over 2.5 goals treble will return at odds of 141/50 should all three games produce over 2.5 goals and that means new bwin customers who use their free £25 bet could pick up a win of £95.50.
