Over 2.5 goals in Blackburn vs West Brom @ 3/4
Premier League strugglers Blackburn host West Brom on Saturday looking to build some home momentum following their 4-2 win against Swansea two weeks ago. Last weekend, Rovers went down to two late Sunderland goals but encouragingly for our treble, that was Blackburn’s tenth Premier League match out of the last 11 that has seen over 2.5 goals. Four of West Brom’s last five away games have also seen three goals or more and they have only kept one away clean sheet all season. Blackburn have yet to record a clean sheet at home this term either, so over 2.5 goals looks a good bet at 3/5.
Over 2.5 goals in Peterborough vs Coventry @ 57/100
Peterborough are the over 2.5 goal specialists because of they only know one way to play: all-out attack. Their last home game saw them come out on the wrong side of a seven-goal thriller with Barnsley despite trailing 3-0 at one point before eventually getting it back to 3-3. Posh have scored 16 goals in their last seven home matches and Coventry’s poor defensive record means more goals are assured. The Sky Blues have conceded in every away match so far this season, shipping at least once on no less than seven occasions. In equally good news, they have managed to get on the scoresheet themselves on four of their last five away trips. Back over 2.5 goals at 57/100.
Over 2.5 goals in Notts County vs Leyton Orient @ 4/5
Notts County have scored seven in their last two games at home and the last time they fired a blank on home soil was back in April. Despite this run they have only kept one clean sheet in their last six home matches and eight of their fixtures at Meadow Lane already this season have produced over 2.5 goals. Leyton Orient were beaten 1-0 at Sheffield Wednesday two weeks ago but before that they had scored two or more goals in their previous five away fixtures. These two sides love to attack and over 2.5 goals looks a sure thing to round off our treble at 4/5.
