Saturday is upon us again and this week we will be looking at three of Europe’s elite to help us on the way to a winning over 2.5 goals treble at odds of 14/5.
If Manchester City, Barcelona and AC Milan can assist in ensuring their respective games finish with three goals or more, new bwin customers using their free £25 bet on this treble could be picking up a £95 win.
Manchester City vs Sunderland – over 2.5 goals at 1/2
Man City are still hot on the heels of rivals Manchester United at the Premier League summit but they were left shocked after a 1-0 defeat to Saturday’s opponents back on New Year’s Day. This will be a different task altogether at the Etihad and City will be keen to build their goal difference lead over United – so we can expect a flood of goals here.
City have got a perfect home record in the league this season and all but three of those 14 games have produced over 2.5 goals.
Sunderland may well come with a fearless approach and the quality of their strike force always brings the chance of goals. City conceded in their last home match against Chelsea and the Black Cats could well add to the required goals tally here.
Barcelona vs Athletic Bilbao – over 2.5 goals at 3/10
This one should be a foregone conclusion, but still a vital component to the treble. Barcelona have scored a massive 20 goals in their last four home matches and also failed to keep a clean sheet in that time.
Their last game on home soil was an eight-goal thriller against Getafe and once again Lionel Messi was the centre of attention with yet another hat-trick. On that occasion, he scored the over 2.5 goals on his own and there is no reason why that cannot be the case again here.
Athletic have scored in their last ten away matches, despite winning just once, so expect them to come and try to play their attractive style of football and get a goal or two.
Catania vs AC Milan – over 2.5 goals at 19/20
Milan are pushing hard for the Serie A title and currently occupy top spot with a four-point cushion over Juventus. They have scored in nine of their last ten Serie A away matches and have notched more than once in all nine of those matches.
Attacking side-kicks Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Robinho strike fear into most defences so expect an few goals from that pair. Catania are in great form themselves, scoring in their last seven home matches and going unbeaten in the process, so this will not be a one team-reliance as we look for over 2.5 goals.
The treble will return at odds of 14/5 with bwin, meaning new customers can use their free £25 bet to win a possible £95.06.
