Bwinbetting’s Jack Beresford selects a Serie A double along with one from La Liga for a goalscoring treble that could see you recoup £223.25 if you decide to take advantage of bwin’s free £25 bet. Available at odds of almost 8/1, here are three of the best from Italy and Spain.
Napoli v Catania – Edinson Cavani to score at anytime @ 7/10
Napoli have been roaring back into form of late in Serie A, with five wins and a draw in their last six domestic matches putting them back in the mix for Champions League qualification.
Much of this resurgence has been down, as ever, to the form of talismanic striker Edinson Cavani. The Uruguayan continues to impress, with five goals in his last five games for Napoli marking him out as one of Europe’s in-form goal getters.
Last week saw him notch up an impressive double against league rivals Udinese and he should be confident of adding to that tally against Cesena. Last time the teams met, Cavani was on the scoresheet once again and backing him to repeat the feat at 7/10 is worth a punt.
Espanyol v Malaga – Rondon to score at anytime @ 3/2
Another team playing their way into form of late is Malaga. While early season expectations of challenging Real and Barca may have been shown up as unrealistic, a credible draw against Los Blancos, coupled with a string of high-scoring wins, has seen Malaga close the gap on Levante in the race for the final Champions League spot.
Malaga have every reason to be confident of adding more wins to their impressive tally too, particularly with young striker Salomon Rondon enjoying such fine form in front of goal.
The Venezuelan youngster was one of the few bright sparks of last season for Malaga and despite the presence of Ruud Van Nistelrooy and Joaquin, looks to be re-establishing himself as los Boquerones’ go-to man in attack.
Rondon has notched up an impressive four goals in his last five La Liga games and should be full of confidence coming into this one.
After all, Rondon has enjoyed his recent encounters with Espanyol, scoring three goals in his last two games against them. Coming into this match on the back of a midweek brace against Rayo Vallecano, this makes odds of 3/2 on a goal at anytime here an absolute steal.
Juventus v Inter Milan – Mirko Vucinic to score at anytime @ 11/10
Juventus may remain the only unbeaten league side in Europe, but their grip on the scudetto has loosened in recent weeks following a string of draws which have allowed Champions League hopefuls AC Milan to take control at the top.
One man doing his upmost to fight off the challenge of the Rossoneri though is Montenegro star Mirko Vucinic. The big striker has been at his sharpest in recent games for the Old Lady, notching up a respectable three goals in his last four games for the club.
Coming into this game against an Inter Milan side in freefall, Vucinic will be confident of adding to that tally, particularly after scoring against their city rivals AC Milan last time out for Antonio Conte’s team.
Vucinic has history on his side too, having scored for Juve in their win over Inter earlier in the season and all signs point to another goal here.
