Bwinbetting’s Jack Beresford picks from the Premier League, Bundesliga and Ligue 1 for a Sunday goalscoring treble offering returns of £196.50 for punters using their free £25 bet for registering with bwin.com. Offered at odds of just under 7/1, here are three of the best from Europe to back today.
Man Utd v West Brom – Wayne Rooney to score at anytime @ 7/10
Wayne Rooney’s goal against Athletic Bilbao in midweek may have papered over the cracks of a poor performance in the Europa League, but things continue to run smoothly for the 26-year-old and the Red Devils domestically.
Rooney has notched five goals in his last four Premier League matches and with the striker on penalty duty at Old Trafford, he could well add to that tally against Roy Hodgson’s West Bromwich Albion.
Rooney has enjoyed good form against the Midlands club of late, having scored in the previous two meetings between the teams. All of which makes a punt on Rooney, at 7/10, a good place to start.
Schalke 04 v Hamburg – Klaas-Jan Huntelaar to score at anytime @ 17/20
Schalke may be out of sorts in the Bundesliga and Europe but in Klaas-Jan Huntelaar they have a striker of genuine class with a fine recent record.
Huntelaar has so far enjoyed his best form for Schalke in games at the Veltins-Arena, with the Dutchman scoring ten goals in his last nine home games for the Royal Blues.
The former Real Madrid man also has a track record for goals against Hamburg, having notched up a match-winning brace for Schalke in a 2-0 win over the Rothosen earlier in the season.
Backing Huntelaar to continue that run with an anytime goal at 17/20 is therefore worthy of serious consideration.
Dijon v PSG – Nene to score at anytime @ 3/2
Paris Saint Germain continue their inevitable march to the Ligue 1 title against Dijon this week and while striker Guillaime Hoarau has enjoyed a resurgence in form, Nene remains the man to back.
The Brazilian continues to enjoy a hot streak in front of goal for PSG, with five in his last six competitive games for Carlo Ancelotti’s side. One of these included the winner in a 1-0 away win over Dijon in the Coupe de France and with Nene scoring a double against Dijon in their last league meeting, he could well be on for another goal here.
The Brazilian scored last time out for the Paris club in a 4-1 win over Ajaccio and with the club scoring ten in their last three league games, he should be backed at 3/2 to complete the treble.
