Lille vs Valenciennes – Eden Hazard to score at any time @ 3/2
Lille may not be hitting the heights of last season in Ligue 1, but the French club continue to score plenty of goals at home.
Their last five matches at Stadium Nord Lille Metropole have seen the hosts score an impressive 15 goals, with much of this form attributed to the current hot streak of Eden Hazard.
The youngster may well be Premier League-bound, but until then he is certainly providing Lille fans with plenty of positive memories and comes into this match having scored six goals in those last five home games.
Hazard has every reason to be confident of continuing this run against Valenciennes too, after notching up a goal in the clubs’ last meeting at this ground. Back him to score at 3/2.
Athletic Bilbao vs Valencia – Fernando Llorente to score at any time @ 7/5
Another fine goal against Manchester United in the Europa League brought Fernando Llorente’s recent goalscoring record to a total of four in his last five for Athletic Bilbao.
And assuming he shakes off the hip injury that forced him off against the Red Devils, he will be well placed to add to that tally against a Los Che team who are struggling for form at present.
Last time the two teams faced off in the Basque country, Llorente scored and considering there hasn’t been a goalless clash between these two at San Mames since 1970, the hosts look good for a least a couple of goals here.
On top of that, Valencia have managed just one clean sheet in their last five games, so backing Llorente at 7/5 is a great punt.
Inter Milan vs Atalanta – Diego Milito to score at any time @ 7/10
Inter Milan’s Champions League campaign may be over for another year, but for striker Diego Milito, things look to be hotting up once again. The Argentinean made a slow start to the season, but has found his goalscoring form in recent weeks and looks a good bet to continue it against Atalanta.
While the result may be anything but certain, Milito remains one to watch for a goal, having notched up an impressive three in his last three games for the Nerazzurri.
The former Genoa star has a good recent record against Atalanta too, having scored two in his last three games against the visitors, including a goal in their last visit to the San Siro.
Few things are easy to predict at Inter these days, but a goal for Milito at 7/10 is one to bank on.
