Now I’m not generally one to blow my own trumpet, but I think I’m going to make a small exception here after landing a 16/1 goalscorer treble last weekend!
Following that up is going to be a tough task, but I’m hoping that Manchester and Madrid could supply the answers on Easter Sunday

Manchester United vs QPR – Wayne Rooney to score at any time @ 3/5
Manchester United’s renewed confidence has much to do with the form of talismanic striker Wayne Rooney at present. The Englishman remains a constant threat for United and as chief penalty taker, is always likely to be a contender for a goal or two at home.
Rooney has evidently been saving his best goalscoring form for the Old Trafford faithful too, with five in his last three games in Manchester suggesting that home is definitely where the heart is for the ex-balding wonder.
The 26-year-old has a decent, if limited, track record against Queens Park Rangers too, having opened the scoring in the first minute of their encounter earlier in the season at Loftus Road.
With odds of 3/5 on Rooney scoring at any time here, this is the dictionary definition of a banker.
Arsenal v Man City – Sergio Aguero to score at any time @ 17/10
While Roberto Mancini may undoubtedly be cursing the effect of a foot spray on City’s title hopes, the return of Sergio Aguero could not come at a better time for the Blues.
After all, prior to the Argentine losing his feet, so to speak, he was in a decent run of form that saw him notch up an impressive six goals in his last seven appearances for Manchester City.
With the goals drying up for Edin Dzeko and Mario Balotelli giving new meaning to the phrase “loose cannon”, Aguero could well be thrown into action here and may respond with a goal.
After all, it was the 23-year-old’s solitary strike which settled the game last time City came to the Emirates for their Carling Cup quarter-final and with odds of 17/10 on history repeating itself, it could prove a canny punt.
Levante vs Atletico Madrid – Radamel Falcao to score at any time @ 11/10
Another South American impressing in his debut season in Europe is Radamel Falcao. Last weekend’s goal in the 3-0 win over Getafe was the Colombian’s 20th of what is turning into an increasingly impressive term for him in La Liga.
While he continues to impress in the Europa League, his recent form in domestic action has been equally commendable, with five goals in his last five league starts.
He could well be among the goals for Atleti this time around too, with the Madrid club enjoying a rich vein of goalscoring form against their Valencia-based opponents, having notched seven in their last two games against them.
With Falcao eager to impress new coach Diego Simeone, backing the big man to score here at 11/10 makes sense and offers great odds.
