Available at odds of just under 14/1, below, here are three of the Premier League’s finest to back this Saturday.
Man City v Bolton: Sergio Aguero to score at any time @ 13/20
Sergio Aguero has been in scintillating form for the Citizens in the past few weeks, as Manchester City continue to enjoy a return to form following a small blip in the post-Christmas period.
The Argentine remains at the heart of much of this positivity, with a string of goalscoring performances for Roberto Mancini’s team. Aguero has scored four goals in his last five competitive games for City and will no doubt be relishing the prospect of a home match against lowly Bolton.
City have scored 15 goals in their last five home matches and with Bolton without a clean sheet on their travels since their opening day win over QPR and shipping ten goals in their last five away games, Aguero is heavily fancied to score at odds of 13/20.
QPR v Everton – Denis Stracqualursi to score at any time @ 17/10
Little was expected of Denis Stracqualursi upon his arrival from Argentinian club Tigre but the last few weeks have seen the 24-year-old gradually find his feet in the Premier League.
Impressive performances against the likes of Manchester City have been followed up by a string of goalscoring appearances that has seen Stracqualursi’s stock rise with the Everton fans and David Moyes alike.
With three goals in his last five games for Everton, Stracqualursi comes into this match having scored in the Liverpool-based club’s last two games, netting against Chelsea in the Premier League and Blackpool in the FA Cup.
An away trip to Queens Park Rangers could prove the ideal stomping ground, with Mark Hughes’s team without a win in their last five games and without a clean sheet in their last four Premier League matches.
With Stracqualursi eager to impress, backing the Argentine to score at 17/10 is one punt to watch.
Stoke v Norwich – Grant Holt to score at any time @ 9/4
Grant Holt may have been overlooked by caretaker England boss Stuart Pearce, but the 30-year-old remains in fine form for the Canaries in the Premier League.
Holt comes into the game with three goals in Norwich City’s last three Premier League matches and while an away trip to Stoke could prove a tough task, the big man remains one to watch for a goal in this one.
With ten goals to his name in the Premier League, Holt will be eager to add to his account and force his way into the frame as an outsider for selection with England.
Stoke City may have claimed a clean sheet from their previous 2-0 home win over Swansea City, but prior to that, the Potters had shipped six goals in their last four home games.
As such, backing Holt to score at any time in the game is surely worth a punt, particularly with competitive odds of 9/4 on the striker nicking a goal.
