A nice little accumulator is everyone’s favourite betting tipple, but your multiples don’t have to be as long as Fernando Torres’ face to make decent returns. Study the form and pick astutely to pocket yourself some weekend winnings.
That’s what we’ve done with our latest Banker Treble, which punters can back with the free £25 bet for joining bwin.com to win a sweet £114.75 if all three of our selections come home.

West Ham to beat Millwall @ 53/100
There’s no such thing as love thy neighbour between these two and even though this tasty east London affair kicks off early doors on Saturday, it is unlikely to dampen the atmosphere in what has traditionally been a fractious meeting.
West Ham should be seething following last weekend’s unexpected pasting at Portman Road and Big Sam will demand his players re-align their promotion push at the expense of Millwall.
The Hammers may soon be housed at the Olympic Stadium and know better than most that getting out of the Championship is a marathon, not a sprint. The crazy nature of this division guarantees oddball results like a 5-1 reverse to Ipswich but they’re top for a reason and with a squad packed with Premier League quality, they should have enough to see off a side that have struggled all season.
The Lions have whimpered rather than roared so far and they are in poor form. Kenny Jackett’s men have lost four of their last five fixtures and have been beaten in eight of their 13 league ties away from the New Den.
Expect answers to the questions from West Ham, and 53/100 seems very generous for the win.
Real Madrid to beat Getafe with over 2.5 goals in the game @ 17/20
The Spanish league is quickly becoming a joke. The big two battle it out among themselves, while the rest do likewise. Sound familiar, SPL fans?
Barcelona may be lauded as the best thing since sliced bread but it’s Real who are romping the league at present. Los Galacticos are, relatively, light years ahead of their Catalan cousins given their seven-point lead at the top of La Liga. That will be hard for the champions to trim, especially given that Jose Mourinho’s men muller everyone else, regardless of how they fare against the champions.
Real have won 24 games on the bounce against opposition other than Barca and are averaging close to four goals a game in doing so. Getafe are on an acceptable stretch themselves, having won four of their last 12 games, but Granada, Mallorca, Santander and Levante are not Real Madrid…and Getafe aren’t Barcelona.
Even 33/100 for the Real win outright seems tempting but given the goal glut Cristiano Ronaldo and company invariably serve up – and the fact that Iker Casillas has kept just one clean sheet in ten – the Madrid win with over 2.5 goals is outrageously priced at 17/20 and that certainly gets my nod on any slip this weekend.
Schalke to beat Mainz @ 31/50
The top of the Bundesliga is currently tighter than a horizontally-challenged fraulein in lederhosen, with just one point separating the top four.
Schalke are nestled in third, level with Bayern and Dortmund on 40 points, but with five wins from five, Huub Stevens’ men will steam past that pair if red-hot Raul and clinical Klaas-Jan Huntelaar can keep banging in the goals.
The dynamic duo have notched 26 times in the league so far this campaign and that prolific partnership has helped Schalke to eight wins from their last ten ties in Gelsenkirchen.
Mainz will ride into north Rhine on Saturday hoping not to be the latest side to succumb, but the forecast is not good. The ‘O-fives’ are eight without a win away from their own patch and have just one maximum haul from their last seven games in the league.
Tussles between the second-best attack and fourth-worst defence in the division usually go to plan, especially when their respective form is also heading in different directions, so top off the treble with Schalke to beat Mainz.
