Another weekend brings another round of top European football action from the likes of Serie A, the Bundesliga and La Liga that could bring rich returns for those willing to take a punt.
Our latest Saturday accumulator sees us back Parma to continue Genoa’s dismal run of form, Bremen to bring on the goals and straightforward wins for Espanyol and Malaga in La Liga.
Winnings of £391.23 are available with these tips if you opt to use the free £25 bet available for joining bwin.com, with odds of just over 15/1 on these results coming in.
And here’s why all four teams should get the job done.
Parma to beat Genoa @ 49/20
Genoa may have home advantage over Parma, but recent form suggests the Rossoblu could struggle against an unpredictable Parma side.
The Genoans have lost their last three consecutive Serie A matches, with defeats to Chievo, Atalanta and Catania suggesting that a Parma win could well be on the cards here.
Prior to last weekend’s slender 1-0 defeat to Roma, the visitors were in a decent run of form that had seen them lose just one league game in ten. This game could see Parma get back on track and their price of 49/20 gives the overall odds of our accumulator a nice boost.
Werder Bremen to beat Nuremberg @ 4/5
A 3-1 away win over an in-form Hamburg side will have no doubt instilled some renewed optimism for Werder Bremen, who continue to score and concede at will.
In their last four Bundesliga matches alone, Thomas Schaaf’s side have scored seven and conceded five and while the visit of Nuremberg may see the goals continue, Bremen remain favourites to come out on top.
Unbeaten in their last five home games, Bremen have scored an average of just over two goals a game during that period, while Nuremberg come to the Weserstadion with a poor away record.
In their last eight games on the road, Nuremberg have won just once and have failed to score in five of their last six games on their travels. All signs point to a Bremen win at 4/5.
Espanyol to beat Levante @ 3/4
The bubble looks to have well and truly burst for Levante in La Liga. They were the surprise package of the first half of the Spanish league season, but since returning after the Christmas break, the Valencia-based club have failed to pick up a single win and find themselves sliding quickly down the table.
Levante have failed to win any of their last eight league games and have conceded 12 goals in their last four La Liga matches.
Espanyol, meanwhile, boast a strong record of success at home, with just a single defeat in their last eight La Liga games at the Cornella-El Prat. The goals have flowed too, with 20 scored in their last eight league outings on home soil.
Backing the boys from Barcelona to let loose on Levante is available at 3/4.
Malaga to beat Real Zaragoza @11/25
Malaga’s grand La Liga plan may be unravelling somewhat but at least Manuel Pellegrini can look forward to some home comforts against a relegation-threatened Real Zaragoza side.
The visitors have won just once away from home this season and look favourites for the drop from the Spanish top flight with a total of just two league wins, both home and away, since October.
Malaga, on the other hand, have a strong record of success at La Rosaleda, helped by the record attendances seen at the stadium this season.
Taking away heavy defeats to Barcelona and Real Madrid, the Anchovies last lost to a club outside of ‘The Big Two’ way back on March 6th 2011.
With Pellegrini no doubt eager to pick up points and places in the race for a Champions League spot, a Malaga win at 11/25 is easy pickings.
