Real Madrid v Malaga: Over 3.5 goals @ 7/10
Thirteen of Real Madrid’s last 14 home matches have seen over 3.5 goals scored, with the only one not to in that time being the 2-1 win for Barcelona at the Bernabeu in the Copa del Rey back in January. Madrid have an awesome attacking line that play with speed and fluidity, but they have the unfortunate habit of conceding at home. They have only kept two clean sheets in their last 14 matches at home in all competitions and that bodes well for more goals at the Bernabeu this evening.
Udinese v Napoli: Under 2.5 goals @ 17/25
Games between the top teams in Italy tend to be tight affairs and given that both sides were involved in European action this week, this may be an even tighter, slower game. The exertions of Napoli in London against Chelsea and Udinese against AZ Alkmaar means both sets of players will be a little jaded, so a low-scoring encounter looks likely.
Chelsea v Leicester City: over 1.5 goals in second half @ 17/20
Three out of Chelsea’s last five matches have seen two goals or more in the second half and given the Leicester will come to Stamford Bridge desperate to keep things tight for as long as possible, a low-scoring opening 45 minutes looks likely – even more so when you consider Chelsea’s sapping extra-time Champions League win in midweek. The Blues, however, should have enough quality and confidence to see off the Foxes in the second half.
AC Siena v Novara: Siena to win @ 29/50
Novara are heading straight back down to Serie B after what has been a disappointing return to the Italian top flight for them. While their home form has been uninspired, their away form has been truly woeful, with a solitary win on their travels from 13 matches played and just eight goals scored in that time. Siena are on a run of three wins in a row and have won four out of their last five home games in all competitions.
