This week’s 4/1 accumulator features some of Europe’s heavyweights, as Juventus, Barcelona, Marseille and Feyenoord aim to continue their title challenges at the expense of Palermo, Betis, Lorient and NAC Breda respectively.
Their tasks are made tougher by the fact that Juve, Barca and Feyenoord all have to do the business in their opponents’ back yards, but they have all demonstrated in recent weeks that they have the ability to pick up crucial points when it matters the most.

Juventus to beat Palermo @ 3/5
It’s top against fourth-bottom in Italy’s Serie A as Juventus travel to struggling Palermo on Sunday.
Prior to the weekend Juve sat two points clear at the league summit after losing just two of their 15 games so far, winning 11 and drawing two. Their goal difference of +22 is the best in the division, and they beat Palermo in both of last season’s match-ups without conceding a goal in either of them.
The hosts, on the other hand, have gained just one point from a possible 15 in their matches against the top six in Serie A this season, losing to Napoli, Lazio, Inter and Roma and drawing with AC Milan. Add to that the fact that they have won just three games in the league all season, and are on a run of four defeats in their last six in all competitions, and they won’t be too confident of improving that record against the Bianconeri.
Barcelona to beat Betis @ 3/10
For football writers, there is nothing left to say about this Barcelona team that hasn’t already been said 100 times before.
Tito Vilanova’s side have an incredible 40 points from a possible 42 in the league this season, winning 13 and drawing just one – against Real Madrid in October. They have a 100 per cent record away from home in La Liga and have scored more than 3.5 goals per game since their amazing 5-4 win over Deportivo in October.
Betis’ home form has been patchy – they have lost three and won four of their seven matches at the Estadio Benito Villmarin – and although they’re challenging for a European place, a feat which would normally render them a dangerous opponent, they face the same problem that everybody else in La Liga has faced for years now: How do you stop the Barcelona juggernaut?
Well, the simple answer is you don’t. Back Barca to win, again.
Marseille to beat Lorient @ 31/50
Mediocre Lorient have won just two games in their last 11 in all competitions and travel to the Stade Velodrome on Sunday with just one away win to their name all season. Treading water in mid-table, they have lost their last three consecutive away matches and won’t be looking forward to the long journey south.
Joey Barton’s Marseille were thumped 4-1 by Lyon in their last home match but that was their only defeat on their own patch all season, and they have already bounced back to winning ways by beating Stade Brest in their last outing.
With points crucial as the hosts continue to chase the title, they shouldn’t make any mistakes in this one.
Feyenoord to beat NAC Breda @ 57/100
Feyenoord have had an up and down season but they travel to NAC Breda on the back of four straight wins and three consecutive clean sheets which have propelled them back into the Eredivisie title race.
NAC, on the other hand, are just two points off the bottom of the league and haven’t won for four matches, losing three and drawing one, and scoring just one goal in the process.
The form is overwhelmingly with the away side and so they should complete this Sunday’s 4/1 accumulator with a win.
