Aaron Rodgers is fancied to just get the better of old rival Tom Brady when Green Bay host Tampa Bay in this weekend’s NFC Championship game.

The Buccaneers are on a six-game winning run, but face formidable opposition and a big change in playing conditions at a freezing cold Lambeau Field.

We’re taking 3/1 for the hosts to prevail by 1-6 points for our first Packers vs Buccaneers prediction.

A Look At Green Bay Packers’ Betting Odds

Green Bay won seven of their eight home games during the regular season before beating the LA Rams 32-18 here in the Divisional Round.

That was their seventh consecutive victory overall, as Rodgers picked off the NFL’s top-ranked defence, throwing for 296 yards and two touchdowns.

The margin of victory could have been even more emphatic but for a couple of missed opportunities and they look almost unstoppable with the ball in hand.

Davante Adams and Aaron Jones have helped Rodgers to MVP honours all season, while the Packers showed some strength in depth versus Los Angeles.

Allen Lazard wrapped up victory with a 58-yard touchdown pass, while Green Bay’s offensive line also impressed yet again.

Looking at the Packers vs Buccaneers odds, we like 4/5 for Green Bay to prevail and over 38.5 points in the game.

A Look At Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Betting Odds

Tampa Bay brought in six-time Super Bowl hero Brady to make an immediate push for play-offs glory and that move has paid off in great fashion.

After accounting for Wahington 31-23 on Wildcard Weekend, the Buccaneers upset the odds with a 30-20 success in New Orleans.

That Divisional Round contest was billed as a battle between two storied veterans in Brady and Saints signal caller Drew Brees.

However, the latter was out of sorts in what was likely his final game in the NFL, with the 42-year-old looking every bit of his age as he threw three interceptions.

Brady was helped by his side’s strong running game and kept mistakes to a minimum in the manner in which brought him so much success in New England.

Tossing for 199 yards and two touchdowns, as well as rushing in another, proved enough to see off the Saints, but the feeling is he will need to be more proactive versus the explosive Packers.

Having said that, Tampa Bay’s stellar offensive line and large array of attacking weapons should ensure they remain competitive throughout.

Punters can get 7/4 for neither side to score three unanswered times in this match and that is rated great value in our Packers vs Buccaneers betting tips.
