With pre-season matches now taking place, we’ve picked out some more ante-post NFL betting tips ahead of the new campaign, this time making four division predictions for a 152/1 acca, writes Liam Blackburn.

We’ve previously highlighted our early Super Bowl picks and are now highlighting teams fancied to top the table in their respective groups during the regular season.

NFC East: New York Giants @ 9/4

The Dallas Cowboys are favoured to win the NFC East after doing so last year with a 13-victory season, but they have holes on the defensive side of the ball and asking Dak Prescott to emulate his stunning rookie campaign is a big ask. The Giants have loaded up even more by adding veteran wide receiver Brandon Marshall, now they just need a more consistent Eli Manning.

NFC South: Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ 15/4

The Atlanta Falcons are clear favourites but beware the hangover from blowing a 25-point lead in last year’s Super Bowl, plus the loss of their offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan. Tampa Bay won nine games last year, added some impressive free-agency pieces and third-year QB Jameis Winston looks ready to take the next step.

AFC South: Tennessee Titans @ 11/5

Another nine-win team last season with a third-year quarterback that can flourish after being surrounded with better weapons, Tennessee are legitimate dark horses in a division that is wide open. Houston and Jacksonville have question marks at the game’s most important position and, outside of their own signal caller, Indianapolis look far from the finished article.

AFC West: Oakland Raiders @ 21/10

Oakland have the longest odds of the eight division favourites, possibly due to the competitiveness of the AFC West. However, the Raiders were the second-best side in the AFC last season prior to Derek Carr’s injury. The introduction of hometown hero Marshawn Lynch behind one of the most dominant offensive lines gives their running game a boost too.
