Australia gave us three winning bets when continuing their hoodoo over Wales and we’re sticking with them against England at Twickenham.

The Wallabies are playing with plenty of confidence after a strong finish to the Rugby Championship and could capitalise on Eddie Jones experimenting with the home team.

We’re backing the tourists at 83/100 with nine points start in our England vs Australia betting predictions.

A Look At England’s Betting Odds

England opened their autumn internationals campaign with a laboured 21-8 defeat of Argentina described as a “grindathon” by head coach Jones.

Defending the performance, Jones declared: “We played hard. We might not have played well, but we played hard.

“I thought most of the guys did pretty well, we just didn’t play well as a team. They gave everything. Sometimes it just doesn’t click.”

There are options to freshen things up, with Owen Farrell, Maro Itoje and Jonny May potentially coming back in, but Jones admitted he is still thinking more about long-term targets.

“We are trying to win the World Cup in 2019, so everything we do now is about that,” he added.

That could be a dangerous policy against the Wallabies, who are a tempting 12/5 to come out on top in the England vs Australia odds.

A Look At Australia’s Betting Odds

Australia travelled to the northern hemisphere in fine spirits following last month’s 23-18 defeat of New Zealand in Brisbane and a 63-30 rout of Japan.

A 29-21 triumph over Wales in Cardiff maintained the momentum, with four tries scored in an entertaining display.

The Wallabies are still prone to giving away too many penalties, with Leigh Halfpenny kicking over nine points from such opportunities, but they are great to watch with the ball in hand.

Kurtley Beale was one of those to cross the whitewash against Wales and he stated: “It’s exciting times for us, as a playing group, a young group. Coming up against a pretty good English team is going to be a great test for us.”

England prop Mako Vunipola warned: “The team Australia are at the moment and the form they are in, they will take you apart if you don’t have that cohesiveness.”

England’s forward pack dominated in four straight head-to-head wins last year, but Australia have improved up front and will take heart from a 33-13 triumph at Twickenham during the 2015 World Cup.
