Premier League Darts: Betting predictions for Night Four in Berlin

Night Four of the Premier League takes place at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin on Thursday.

Michael Smith and Simon Whitlock continued their perfect starts to the campaign in Newcastle last week, while world champion Rob Cross claimed his maiden win in the competition.

Here are this week’s Premier League darts betting predictions, which you can get at 51/1 on an accumulator.

Michael Smith and Simon Whitlock to draw @ 13/4

Who would have thought these two would be sitting pretty at the top of the table with three wins from as many matches? Many people would have tipped Smith and Whitlock to fight relegation, but the pair have produced some impressive darts to lead the way. The form duo go head-to-head in Germany and it is hard to separate them, leaving a draw the best bet.

Gerwyn Price to beat Mensur Suljovic @ 17/10

Price has yet to claim his first Premier League win but has shown the battling qualities that fellow newcomer Suljovic’s game has lacked so far. The Welshman has twice fought back from 5-1 behind to secure a point, including last time out against Daryl Gurney, and can get over the line this week. Suljovic is in a rut, propping up the table following defeats to Whitlock, Raymond van Barneveld and Smith.

Michael van Gerwen to beat Daryl Gurney @ 1/4

The defending champion returned to winning ways in spectacular fashion, bouncing back from his defeat to Wright with a brilliant performance against Gary Anderson. Having averaged over 110 and hit seven 180s, Van Gerwen is expected to heap more misery on winless Gurney. The Northern Irishman threw away a healthy lead for the second time in three matches and, with confidence low, could be on the end of a hammering.

Rob Cross to beat Raymond van Barneveld @ 83/100

The world champion kick-started his campaign at the third attempt by getting the better of Wright. Cross appeared to be returning back to his best in Newcastle and has regained his confidence. Van Barneveld took a beating from Whitlock and a promising start to the Premier League could be further undone with another defeat.

Gary Anderson to beat Peter Wright @ 19/20

Anderson played his part in the thriller with Van Gerwen, matching the Dutchman’s 110 average and producing a stunning 170 checkout to come back from 2-0 down and lead 3-2. That forced Van Gerwen to move up another level, but the signs Anderson was returning to full fitness and form were there for all to see. Wright had a night to forget, failing to capitalise on his victory over Van Gerwen, and Anderson is favourite to win the battle of the Scots.
