Derek Chisora has waited over six years for a second crack at Kubrat Pulev, but we fear it will be repeat not revenge when they meet in London.
The pair first clashed in Germany in May 2016 for the European heavyweight title, with Pulev prevailing via a split decision.
However, there was no suggestion of Chisora being unlucky on that occasion, as two judges correctly had the Bulgarian as a clear victor, with the third surprisingly favouring the Briton.

His first defeat came when challenging Wladimir Klitschko for the IBF title in November 2014 via a fifth-round knockout.
Another eight wins followed before Pulev was stopped in the ninth by Anthony Joshua in December 2020, with multiple belts on the line.
The Cobra returned to action in May with a low-key points win over Jerry Forrest in California and still harbours world title ambitions.
He commented: “Derek is a difficult opponent but we have a little bit of history. Now, a few years after my win, I feel good and better because I learn a lot of things from my fights.
“For my fight against Joshua here in London, I was not good prepared. Before, I was with Covid and I don’t say nothing in the media, but I don’t prepare good.
“Now, I am healthy, I am good and here to fight against my friend Derek.”
Age catches up with everyone eventually, but Pulev has always been a consummate professional and should have enough left in the tank for this task.
