Brazil are the defending champions and have won a medal at the last three Olympics, so it was no surprise to see them take things seriously as well.

There was a 0-0 draw with Ivory Coast in between, though, and the goals have dried up again during the knockout rounds.
Hertha Berlin forward Matheus Cunha earned the Selecao a narrow 1-0 win over Egypt but penalties were needed to break the deadlock versus Mexico.
Thankfully, Alves, Arsenal’s Gabriel Martinelli, Bruno Guimaraes of Lyon and Borussia Dortmund’s Reinier all converted their spot-kicks.
Brazil will always be hard to beat but we just believe Spain have the players to control the midfield and that may test the Selecao’s resolve.
