Kick-off: 1530, 13/04/2020

Stadium: Yunost Stadium

Slavia Mozyr will take on Ruh Brest in the first head-to-head meeting between the two sides to complete the fourth round of fixtures in the Vysshaya Liga on Monday afternoon.

The hosts will be buoyed by their recent winning run when they face a relative unknown quantity in Ruh Brest, who have been a professional outfit for only two years.

Despite Ruh soaring up the leagues, experience should prevail in Mazyr and we are confident of a home win at a price of 23/20 for our initial Slavia Mozyr vs Ruh Brest prediction.

A Look At Slavia Mozyr’s Betting Odds

Slavia Mozyr produced their highest league finish in 18 years when they came eighth last season, seven points above safety.

The Gomel region team are two-time winners of the Vysshaya Liga – in 1996 and 2000 – but have generally struggled since the turn of the millennium to threaten the top end of the table.

Mozyr have recovered from an opening-round 3-1 defeat at FC Slutsk by recording back-to-back 2-1 victories against powerhouses BATE Borisov and defending champions Dinamo Brest.

That should give the hosts plenty of hope of securing a third successive league win, albeit in different circumstances this time around.

Slavia Mozyr have been involved in four home league games from their last seven where one team has failed to find the net.

The visitors have a similar record where six of their last seven away matches have seen at least one team not score and it is 17/20 to happen again when looking at the Slavia Mozyr vs Ruh Brest odds.

A Look At Ruh Brest’s Betting Odds

Ruh Brest enjoyed a wonderful start to their first campaign in the top flight of Belarusian football with a 1-0 win at Dinamo Minsk.

Brest, who were only founded in 2016, have had a rapid ascent to the Vysshaya Liga with successive promotions from the third tier to the first.

However, they have found it more difficult since their opening-day win after suffering 1-0 defeats to top-of-the-table Energetik and BATE.

Survival will be primary focus for Ruh and they are hoping to pick up points in Gomel on Monday afternoon.

All three of their matches have been separated by a single goal, extending their run of nine of their last 11 league games involving two goals or less.

Slavia Mozyr have been involved in nine home league clashes where there have been under 2.5 goals from their last 13 encounters.

We believe this will follow suit at a price of 18/25 to finish off our Slavia Mozyr vs Ruh Brest betting tips.
