Manchester United should close in on qualifying for the Europa League knockout stage by brushing aside Omonia Nicosia at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils made hard work of winning last week’s clash in Cyprus 3-2 but are backed to enjoy a much smoother success on home turf.

United were almost undone by self-inflicted damage at GSP Stadium, with a Tyrell Malacia blunder helping Omonia to claim a 1-0 half-time lead.
Substitutes Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial then combined to put the Red Devils in control at 3-1 up.

Omonia started out as longshots to advance from this pool and looked set to really struggle after losing 3-0 at home to Sheriff first up.
However, they deserve plenty of credit for putting that poor result behind them, even if they are still pointless.
Neil Lennon’s side were level late on at Real Sociedad thanks to Bruno’s equaliser before eventually going down 2-1.
Karim Ansarifard and Nikolas Panagiotou took their chances well versus United, while Bruno again caught the eye.
However, Monday’s 1-0 loss at AEL Limassol made it three defeats in six Cypriot league games this term and they were only seventh in the table last season.
If United approach this match in a disciplined manner, it should be plain sailing for them.
