Kick-off: 1550, 28/11/2019

Stadium: Astana Arena

TV: BT Sport

Manchester United made hard work of beating Astana at home in the Europa League but should be looking to secure a smoother success in the return fixture.

The Kazakhstan outfit were resilient at Old Trafford, but have since had the stuffing knocked out of them by suffering three more defeats.

With the Red Devils yet to concede a goal in Group L, 3/2 for an away win to nil is an obvious Astana vs Man Utd prediction.

A Look At Astana’s Betting Odds

Astana only succumbed to a 73rd-minute Mason Greenwood strike when putting in a disciplined display in Manchester, with Belarus international Ivan Maevski marshalling the midfield.

Roman Hryhorchuk’s side were then competitive in a 2-1 loss to Partizan at this venue, but two thrashings by AZ Alkmaar ended any hopes of advancing.

The Dutch side romped to a 6-0 triumph in Holland and then prevailed 5-0 in Kazakhstan, so it is hard to see how Astana can come back from those drubbings.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has set the Red Devils up to be solid, rather than spectacular, on the road in Europe, though, so at least another hammering is not anticipated.

Looking at the Astana vs Man Utd odds, we like 3/2 for an away win and under 3.5 goals in the game.

A Look At Manchester United’s Betting Odds

United followed up their laboured win over Astana by grinding out a goalless draw away to AZ Alkmaar, with Solskjaer making wholesale changes for those games.

There was a slightly more familiar feel to the Red Devils’ starting line-up when they won 1-0 against Partizan in Belgrade, thanks to Anthony Martial’s 43rd-minute penalty.

A near full-strength team then put Partizan to the sword at Old Trafford, when United could have easily doubled the 3-0 scoreline.

However, United are now already through and this match comes during a busy Premier League period of four games in a fortnight, which culminates with fixtures against Tottenham and Manchester City.

That may tempt Solskjaer to shuffle his pack again and rely on a number of fringe players, plus several youngsters, to get the job done.

Taking that into account, 15/2 for a steady 2-0 away win is added to our Astana vs Man Utd betting tips.
