Liverpool have restored confidence ahead of their Premier League clash with free-falling Leeds at Anfield.
The Reds bounced back from a shock Premier League defeat to Nottingham Forest with a midweek Champions League triumph at Ajax and face a Leeds side who are without a win in eight matches.
A home win to nil at 31/20 is our first Liverpool vs Leeds prediction.
The defeat at Forest halted Liverpool’s three-match winning run, but they soon responded to reach the last 16 of the Champions League.
Goals from Mohamed Salah, Darwin Nunez and Harvey Elliott ensured the Reds won 3-0 in Amsterdam.
Boss Jurgen Klopp said: “I’m not sure what is better in our situation, to fly through a game or to overcome difficulties and in the end to develop into your best self – that is obviously very helpful as well, and today it was like that.
“In the end we just did really well. I would be over the moon if we played here, 0-0 and got through, because it is all about getting through, and we did that with the 3-0, and that’s perfect.”
Liverpool are unbeaten at home this season, winning six of their eight games, while Leeds have lost their last four on the road and have failed to score in three of their five previous outings.
A 3-0 home win is Liverpool vs Leeds odds.
Last Liverpool EPL line-up: Alisson, Gomez, Van Dijk, Robertson, Fabinho, Milner, Jones, Elliott, Carvalho, Firmino, Salah.
Midfielder Thiago Alcantara could make his return to action having recovered from an ear infection. Jordan Henderson is also expected to feature after coming off with a knee issue at Ajax.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain can be called upon again after being ineligible for the European game, while Naby Keita, Joel Matip, Luis Diaz, Diogo Jota and Arthur Melo remain unavailable.
Leeds United Odds
Leeds head coach Jesse Marsch is under mounting pressure after four consecutive defeats saw his side slip into the relegation zone.
The United fans made it clear what they thought of the American during the losses to Leicester and Fulham, but the club’s board are standing by him.
Marsch said: “It’s difficult to explain why we can’t capitalise and we give certain things away, but I’m not finger-pointing, I’m looking directly at myself.
“I’m taking responsibility. I’m trying to push them to understand how to get better and we have to demand that now for the next game.
“We have to do everything we can again to try to figure out how to get the win.”
Leeds arrived at Anfield two seasons ago for their first game back in the top flight in 16 years and were unfortunate not to claim a point in a 4-3 loss.
Last campaign was a different story as, after losing 3-0 at Elland Road, they were thrashed 6-0 under Marcelo Bielsa.
Another one-sided game is expected and Nunez is a man in form, scoring four goals in his last five games.
The striker to net the opener at 16/5 completes our Liverpool vs Leeds betting tips.
Last Leeds line-up: Meslier, Ayling, Koch, Cooper, Struijk, Roca, Greenwood, Aaronson, Sinisterra, Rodrigo, Harrison.
Leeds have injury doubts over five players. Tyler Adams missed the Fulham game due to a calf strain, while Luis Sinisterra (foot), Rodrigo (adductor), Liam Cooper (glute) and Joe Gelhardt (knee) will all be assessed.
Leo Hjelde (appendicitis) and Archie Gray (toe) are still out and Stuart Dallas is working his way back from a fractured femur.
