Friday, 2nd December
Genoa (9th) v AC Milan (2th)
Home: 15/4 Draw: 5/2 Away: 3/4
Betting tip: Genoa’s unbeaten home record will face a stern test on Friday when second-placed Milan visit the Stadio Luigi Ferraris. Milan haven’t lost in seven Serie A outings and can move top of the league with all three points here. Genoa have scored the majority of their goals after the break and the Rossoneri have scored five of their eight goals away from home in the second half. You can get odds of there being more second half goals scored here at 23/20 – well worth a punt.
Saturday, 3rd December
Inter Milan (15th) v Udinese (3rd)
Home: Evens Draw: 23/10 Away: 11/4
Betting tip: Claudio Ranieri’s side have picked up three straight league wins and continue their revival since ‘the tinker man’ took charge of the Nerazzurri. They have also only lost once in their last seven Serie A matches. Udinese visit the San Siro currently sitting two points behind leaders Juventus and will need to improve on recent matches between the two sides as Inter have won three of the last four meetings. The last two clashes at the San Siro have finished 2-1 to Inter and consider odds of 31/4 on a repeat scoreline this weekend.
Napoli (6th) v Lecce (20th)
Home: 7/20 Draw: 17/5 Away: 35/4
Betting tip: Napoli have only lost once at home all season and that stat is unlikely to change after Lecce have visited on Saturday. Currently sitting bottom of the league ladder Lecce have only picked up two wins all season, both against sides in the bottom four, and if they are to have any chance they must stop Napoli’s top scorer Edinson Cavani. The Uruguayan is 4/1 to open the scoring and 11/10 to net at any time in the match.
Sunday, 4th December
Catania (8th) v Cagliari (14th)
Home: 19/20 Draw: 11/5 Away: 61/20
Betting tip: Historically this has been a fixture that Catania have enjoyed having won the last four times they have entertained Cagliari. Davide Ballardini’s side arrive having not won in three games on the road and will be conscious another defeat will leave them nervously looking over their shoulder at the relegation places. Three of the last four games between these two at the Stadio Angelo Massimino have ended 2-1 Catania and take odds of 6/5 on there being over 2,5 goals scored again here.
Bologna (17th) v Siena (12th)
Home: 29/20 Draw: 21/10 Away: 39/20
Betting tip: Siena have yet to win away from home in the league this season and visit a Bologna side who have lost four of their five home games in Serie A this campaign. Neither side have been free-scoring this season and I predict a close-fought encounter here so fancy a draw, with a draw/draw in the halftime/fulltime market tempting at 17/5.
Chievo (11th) v Atalanta (13th)
Home: 5/4 Draw: 21/10 Away: 23/10
Betting tip: A mid-table clash here as Chievo look to bounce back from their 4-0 hammering at Milan last week by picking up maximum points against an Atalanta side who have only won once in their last five games. The last three times these two sides have played at Chievo the scoreline has been deadlocked and I predict another draw here and suggest backing odds of 21/10 on both sides walking away with a point.
Fiorentina (16th) v AS Roma (7th)
Home: 13/10 Draw: 11/5 Away: 21/10
Betting tip: Viola’s wretched start to the season continues as they have only picked up one win in their last nine league clashes and sit dangerously close to the relegation places in Serie A. Roma are the visitors this weekend and they will be looking to bounce back from a 2-0 defeat at Udinese last weekend. Fiorentina have failed to score in three of their last four games and Roma have kept clean sheets in half of their away matches so far this season. You can get odds of 5/2 on Fiorentina firing another blank here.
Juventus (1st) v Cesena (19th)
Home: 1/4 Draw: 17/4 Away: 23/2
Betting tip: Antonio Conte’s side are the only unbeaten team in Serie A and are overwhelming favourites to pick up another three points here when struggling Cesena visit the Juventus Stadium. Cesena have won their last two league games but have only managed to hit the net once on their travels and will struggle to keep out a Juve side that have scored seven goals in their last three matches. In the multiple scores market take Conte’s outfit to win either 1-0, 2-0 or 3-0 at 23/20.
Parma (10th) v Palermo (5th)
Home: 11/10 Draw: 21/10 Away: 53/20
Betting tip: Palermo have been perfect at home in the early stages of the season but have only picked up one point on the road. Even more worrying for Devis Mangia is his side have yet to score away from home and will find it tough to break that duck here against a Parma side who have kept two clean sheets in their last two games in front of their own fans. Parma have tended to win their games late this season and I will be backing the draw/Parma at 17/4 in the halftime/fulltime market.
Monday, 5th December
Lazio (4th) v Novara (18th)
Home: 37/100 Draw: 13/4 Away 17/2
Betting tip: This should be a comfortable home win for Lazio as they entertain Serie A newcomers Novara at the Stadio Olimpico. Lazio’s defeat last weekend at the hands of Juventus was their first in nine games in all competitions and fans of the Biancocelesti will be expecting a return to winning ways on Monday night. I can’t see anything but a comfortable home win so consider giving Novara a 1-0 head start here and back Lazio to come out on top at 21/20.
