Hibernian travel to something of a bogey ground tomorrow when they make the trip north to take on Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
The last three matches between the two teams at the Caledonian Stadium have resulted in wins for Terry Butcher’s side.
Caley Thistle have scored at least twice in each of these victories, meaning there is a strong chance more than 1.5 goals will be scored in the match.
This would make odds of 7/20 on there being at least two goals worth backing, although there are plenty of other bets being offered by bwin which would give punters greater returns.
Given all three of ICT’s recent home wins over Hibs have been secured by two clear goals, odds of 15/4 on Inverness Caledonian Thistle to win with a 1-0 handicap working in the away side’s favour could be worth consideration.
This offers better value than simply backing ICT in bwin’s 3Way football betting market, where they are 13/10 favourites.
A £25 free bet on Inverness CT to overcome a 1-0 handicap and beat Hibs, available to new customers who sign up for a bwin account, would return £118.75.
This is not to suggest that Hibs will be travelling to Inverness without a hope of gaining a positive result.
Indeed, the football betting market suggests the game between the only two sides to have lost their opening SPL fixtures will be close, with a Hibs win priced at 7/4 and a draw at 11/5.
Furthermore, the Edinburgh outfit have managed to secure a win or a draw in half of their last ten matches against ICT.
As such, backing them to earn at least a point in the double-chance market at odds of 12/25 could be a good option for Hibs betting fans.
