West Ham United are clearly enjoying life in the Premier League’s top five and are already eyeing up big moves in the summer.
Things are looking up for the Hammers ahead of their move to the Olympic Stadium and they are being linked with some top names in their pursuit of a new striker.
Sky Sports are speculating that Slaven Bilic is looking at three forwards and when weighing them up it’s obvious who the east Londoners should look to sign.
Here are the three options ranked from best to worst:
The 22-year-old Belgian forward has scored 13 times for Marseille in Ligue 1 this season and is viewed as one of the most prominent frontmen in Europe.
L’OM are currently 12th in the French top flight, making it more likely that Batshuayi would want to leave.
Furthermore, the young striker is reported to be good friends with Dmitri Payet and pairing the two together would be a dream partnership for the Hammers.
Despite his failings at Liverpool, the 25-year-old is a proven goalscorer in the Premier League.
During his time at Aston Villa, the Belgium international found the net 42 times in 89 top-flight outings and clearly flourished in claret and blue.
However, if the Reds choose to sell, they’ll want to recoup as much of the £32.5m they shelled out for him as possible and there in no guarantee that he would replicate his form at Villa.
The Lyon man has scored one more than Batshuayi in Ligue 1 this season, but his overall contribution is worse.
Marseille have the Belgian youngster to thank for 22 of their 42 goals this season, with the forward contributing nine assists on top of his strikes, while Lacazette has only set someone up once.
Furthermore, Lyon have been resolute in rejecting bids for their star striker in the past and and this will most likely drive up his price tag.
