Tottenham are favourites to beat Wolves at Molineux on Saturday despite being 15 places below them in the Premier League table.
The two sides have had contrasting starts to the season, with Wolves collecting seven points from their opening three games and Spurs pointless after two.
Nevertheless, Harry Redknapp’s side are 7/5 to win the match, with a Wolves victory priced at 9/5 and a draw at 47/20.
However, Wolves will fancy their chances of continuing Spurs’ miserable start to the season given their good form and an impressive recent head-to-head record against the Lilywhites.
Mick McCarthy’s men did the double over Spurs in the 2009-10 campaign – winning both games 1-0 – and drew 3-3 with their opponents in the corresponding fixture last year.
With this in mind, Wolves look good value in the double chance market at the very least, with a home win or draw priced at 57/100.
A successful £25 free bet on Wolves to secure a win or a draw would return £39.25, with the free bet available to new customers who sign up for a bwin account.
Spurs have had problems at both ends of the pitch so far this season, shipping eight goals in their two league games – albeit against the attacking might of Manchester United and Manchester City – and scoring just once.
Redknapp will be particularly concerned about his side’s second-half performances, with 75 per cent of the goals conceded by Tottenham being let in after the interval.
This makes Wolves good bets to win the second half at odds of 11/5, even allowing for the fact that they have yet to find the back of the net in the final 45 minutes of their league matches this season.
And with McCarthy’s side scoring 75 per cent of their goals before the break, they look good to be ahead at the interval as well as the full-time whistle at odds of 17/4.
A £25 stake on this outcome would return an attractive £68.75.
