Tottenham could be forgiven for not looking forward to the impeding visit of Manchester City, against whom they have lost their three outings 6-0, 5-1 and 4-1.
Three men who will be, however, are Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero, Edin Dzeko and Samir Nasri who are all expected to be available to feature at White Hart Lane.
Famous Sky Blues fan Ricky ‘Hitman’ Hatton often used to refer to a little-known fighter by the name of Mister Guiness as his favourite opponent, but for the Citizens that honour can only fall to the north London side.
As such the trio rate as excellent scorer bets for the fixture, with the in-form Argentine leading the way.
Aguero has netted a merciless nine times in only six games against the Lilywhites, including all four when the sides met at the Etihad earlier in the season.
The man they call Kun has struck four times in his last three outings too, so it’s little surprise he’s 17/20 favourite to score at anytime and 7/2 to bag first of all.
Fellow striker Dzeko has found goals far harder to come by this term with just six in blue shirt, but the sight of White Hart Lane should revive his instincts.
The Bosnian has bagged the same amount in just six games against Spurs during his time in the north west and he’s 13/10 to net and 5/1 to do so before anyone else.
He’ll likely need to find a way past Hugo Lloris in order to avoid the ignominy of having his record against the hosts bettered by a mere midfielder.
Nasri is due back from a muscular injury for the encounter and is more than capable of backing up 2/1 anytime scorer or 15/2 first/last goal odds.
The Frenchman has an identical record to Dzeko against the Lilywhites, also assisting no fewer than five strikes for teammates.
