Wolves host QPR in the Premier League on Saturday and there is every chance the game could be a stop-start affair given the physical approach of both sides.
Mick McCarthy’s men have to be favourites to find the net first as they have scored four goals so far in comparison to QPR’s one.
Wolves will be looking to Steven Fletcher to lead their line once again and he is 6/1 favourite to score the first goal of the match.
It was ultimately his goals that ensured Wolves’ safety in the Premier League last season as he bagged ten goals in 25 games and scored first on four occasions. He already has one goal to his name this season.
Kevin Doyle will partner Fletcher up front but his goalscoring is nowhere near as potent as his strike partner’s.
Despite him being the only Wolves player to score the first goal of the match so far, he got just five goals in 26 games last campaign and is therefore one to avoid. Doyle is a 7/1 chance to score first and 2/1 to score anytime in the match.
Meanwhile, Jamie O’Hara’s dead ball expertise is a vital part of Wolves’ game but he is equally adept at carving out chances for himself.
He was unlucky not to score against Tottenham last weekend and can go one better this time. He got four goals last season and has odds of 13/4 to get on the scoresheet at any time in the match.

QPR have only scored once all season (away at Everton) but star man Adel Taarabt is getting closer to finding the net. He had chances against Newcastle last weekend but could not break through.
As such, he could be a good bet at 8/1 to score the first goal of the match, while Jay Bothroyd, who himself should have scored against Newcastle, is a similar price. Both can be backed at 2/1 to score at any time.
