Norwich will be without goalkeeper John Ruddy for the visit of West Brom as he serves a one-match suspension for the red card he picked up in his side’s last match against Chelsea.
Ruddy’s absence means youngster Declan Rudd will make his full Premier League debut behind a back four still likely to be missing the presence of Zak Whitbread, who has a hamstring injury. Daniel Ayala and Elliot Ward are definitely out.
However, Paul Lambert’s men will be boosted by the presence of James Vaughan, who is available for selection after recovering from a knee injury.
The problem, picked up in pre-season, has prevented Vaughan from making a competitive appearance for the club he joined in the summer.
Meanwhile, West Brom striker Shane Long is a doubt with a calf injury.
This could have a significant impact on the first goalscorer market, where Long is joint-favourite to open the scoring along with striker partner Peter Odemwingie at odds of 8/5.
With Odemwingie more likely to play, he could prove to be the best bet.
A successful £25 free bet on Odemwingie to score first would return £65, with the free bet available to new customers who sign up for a bwin account.
Finally, Zoltan Gera could make his first West Brom appearance since signing from Fulham, although a lack of match fitness means he is unlikely to start.
