The Manchester Evening News report Everton to be interested in a deadline day loan deal for Manchester United’s Adnan Januzaj.
He is currently 1/2 to ink a temporary Goodison Park switch by the close of business today.
Reds boss Louis van Gaal is thought to be keen that Januzaj remains at Old Trafford.
To this end Paris Saint-Germain were rebuffed in their attempts to pull off a similar gambit earlier in the window.
However, the MEN understands that United will let the deal go through if the young Belgian pushes for it to go ahead.
Prior to starting United’s last two games against Cambridge United and Leicester City Januzaj hadn’t made Van Gaal’s XI for 12 straight games in all competitions.
And it is thought that a lack of game time could prove his prime motivation for making the move.
So far this term the 19-year-old has made five league starts and seven substitute appearances.
By this stage of his breakout 2013/14 campaign Januzaj had started 14 games under David Moyes, entering the fray from the bench on a further ten occasions.
Everton are 9/4 to beat Liverpool at Goodison Park this weekend.
