Two sides desperately in need of a positive result do battle at the Reebok on Saturday, and it may be worth siding with the in-form Ivan Klasnic to help Bolton on their way against promoted Norwich.
Croatian Klasnic has scored three times in four Premier League games so far this campaign, including against Manchester City and Liverpool, and seems a good bet to score at any time during the 90 minutes at 7/5 against a Norwich City team who are struggling to adapt to life in the top flight.
Owen Coyle’s men may have lost three on the bounce, but a run of fixtures against the Manchester clubs (home) and Liverpool (away) is a nightmare start to the season, and despite that Bolton scored twice against City and a late consolation at Anfield.
Klasnic struck twice in those games to add to his goal in the 4-0 thrashing of QPR on the opening day.
Coyle will want a response from his side after their 5-0 reverse against Manchester United last week, and with Klasnic in fine fettle he may well react in exactly the way the Scot has in mind.
The Croatian, who scored seven times last season despite being largely restricted to substitute appearances, is 5/1 to open the scoring and the same odds to score the last goal, as he did at Anfield.
For their part, winless Norwich have just two points and have scored just three Premier League goals this season and it is difficult to see where their goals will come from at this level.
All three of their strikes have come from different scorers from different areas of the pitch (defender Richie De Laet, midfielder Wes Hoolahan and striker Grant Holt) and the money spent on Championship-level strikers Steve Morison and James Vaughan looks increasingly like a gamble that is not going to pay off for talented manager Paul Lambert.
Hoolahan, the creative fulcrum of the side, has been one bright spot for the Canaries and following his equalising goal in the 1-1 draw at Wigan, the 9/2 on him scoring at anytime may be worth a little interest.
