After a torrid few weeks over the festive period, I bounced back to form in spectacular fashion last weekend by backing Man City, Derby and Leicester to progress in the FA Cup third round.
This weekend, I am back on Premier League ‘Home Heroes’ duty and feeling confident of extending my winning run to two by tipping Manchester United to beat Liverpool in the big one at Old Trafford, Everton to beat their favourite opponents of all time, Swansea City, at Goodison Park and Fulham to beat relegation rivals Wigan Athletic at Craven Cottage.
New customers to bwin qualify for a free £20 bet and using that to back this weekend’s banker treble will return £104.65 if successful.
Man Utd to beat Liverpool @ 4/5
Remember when Fernando Torres used to be good? It’s difficult, isn’t it? That’s because it was such a long time ago – 2009 to be precise. The same time that Liverpool last won at Old Trafford, in fact.
That was when the then-great Spaniard tore Nemanja Vidic to shreds as Liverpool crushed United 4-1 to record a famous victory. But just as Torres’ fortunes have nosedived since then, so too have his former team’s.
The Reds have lost all four trips to United’s self-proclaimed ‘Theatre of Dreams’ since that day and they haven’t won in Manchester against either United or City since that triumph.
Sir Alex Ferguson’s side have won 17 of their 21 Premier League games this season, losing just once at home, compared to Liverpool’s record of just three wins on the road in the Premier League since Brendan Rodgers took over.
Expect United to continue their recent dominance over their bitter rivals on Sunday.
Everton to beat Swansea @ 53/100
Swansea might be one of the most fashionable teams in the country right now – a status enhanced by Wednesday’s 2-0 Capital One Cup win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge – but Everton have experienced total domination over the Swans down the years.
The Welsh club haven’t even scored in any of their three previous meetings with Everton since returning to the Premier League in 2011, losing 1-0, 2-0 and 3-0, and that record only gets worse the further back in time you go.
In fact, Swansea have never beaten Everton in their history. In 16 previous meetings, the Toffees have won 12 of them, with the other four being drawn.
And considering that David Moyes’ men have won four of their last five games in all competitions, they look in good shape to continue their encouraging form on Saturday, so get them in your treble right away.

Fulham to beat Wigan @ 9/10
Struggling Fulham will be looking to the heavens and thanking their lucky stars that they are at home to Wigan this week because the Lilywhites hardly ever lose to the Latics.
The Londoners haven’t lost to Wigan for 12 games and have won their last three meetings in a row, averaging two goals per game.
To add to their woes, Roberto Martinez’s relegation contenders have lost seven of their ten away games so far this season and have won just one of their last nine matches in all competitions, losing six of them.
Martin Jol’s side will be boosted by their victory over West Brom in their last league outing and should make it two in a row on Saturday.
