The Premier League treble is back on the Goals Galore radar after a week-and-a-half break and we have selected the games between Queens Park Rangers and Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa and Southampton, and Everton and Swansea City to provide some money-spinning strikes.
Last time out, we were denied by the most bizarre game of the season as QPR nabbed a 1-0 win against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. It’s almost as if Julio Cesar has something against me personally (what do you mean he was just doing his job?)
However, I’m confident that with the FA Cup put to bed for a couple of weeks, a weekend full of goals is on the cards and should you wish to back this treble, then you can place the free £20 bet you receive for signing up to bwin today on it to give yourself a shot at £105.
Read on to find out why the three chosen fixtures all look good to deliver over 2.5 goals, starting with those coupon-ruining rotters at Loftus Road.
Over 2.5 goals in QPR v Tottenham @ 18/25
The early Saturday kick-off sees Andre Villas-Boas take his Spurs side across London to face the bottom side in the Premier League.
I have backed Tottenham’s away games to provide goals recently due to the incredible statistic that all ten of their away trips in the league this season have seen three or more goals scored.
There is little reason to believe that this clash will be any different as six of ten games at Loftus Road have seen over 2.5 strikes and Spurs have in-form Tom Daley impersonator Gareth Bale back from suspension.

Over 2.5 goals in Aston Villa v Southampton @ 83/100
It can’t be very pleasant to be an Aston Villa fan at the moment, with a draw at Swansea and a narrow win over Ipswich all they’ve had to soften the savage beatings dealt to them by Chelsea, Tottenham, Wigan and yes, even Bradford City in recent weeks.
Paul Lambert’s side have been shipping goals like it’ll cure world hunger and his namesake Rickie will be joined by his Southampton teammates in thinking they can take advantage at Villa Park on Saturday.
The Saints thoroughly walloped Villa 4-1 back in September at St Mary’s, although Christian Benteke has a good chance of finding his way past the decidedly dodgy looking Artur Boruc should he start in goal for the visitors.
Either way, the required three-goal-plus target should be met in this one, judging by both teams’ defensive difficulties at times this season.

Over 2.5 goals in Everton v Swansea @ 67/100
We finish up on Merseyside, where Everton entertain Michael Laudrup’s Michu… I mean Swansea.
It would be very harsh to label the Swans a one-man team, but the Spaniard just refuses to stop scoring and bagged another in the midweek Capital One Cup conquering of Chelsea.
The Toffees have been surrounded by goals in recent outings, with six of their last seven games featuring over 2.5 goals, and five of those finishing 2-1.
Even more amazingly, both teams have scored in Everton’s last 16 Premier League games – yes, that is a record for the division, in case you were wondering – so assuming this trend continues, a 1-1 draw is the only scoreline which would deny us.
It promises to be a great game at Goodison Park and should I ever meet Swansea’s Spanish goal-getter, I shall simply shake him by the hand and say “Pleased to Michu!” (that’s right, I have a new one!)
I’ll get my coat…
