Two teams looking for landmark victories go head-to-head at Loftus Road on Saturday, with QPR favourites to pick up three points against Blackburn.
Should they justify this status, it will be QPR’s first home win of the season, while Blackburn travel to west London in search of their first away success of the campaign.
The two sides’ form over the last six games suggests neither is particularly well placed to break their respective ducks, although QPR go into the match odds-on for victory at 4/5.
Meanwhile, a Blackburn win is priced at 7/2 in bwin’s 3Way football betting market, with a draw at 12/5.
It is this latter option which looks the most appealing, not least because QPR’s last two league games at Loftus Road have ended this way.
The Hoops have also had trouble hitting the back of the net at home this season, and with Blackburn scoring more goals on their travels than QPR have at home, Steve Kean’s men will be optimistic they can achieve parity with their opponents at the very least.
A draw certainly looks a good shout at half time given there has only been one first-half goal scored in the three league matches at Loftus Road so far this season.
Indeed, punters could even be tempted by the odds of 37/10 offered for the 0-0 half time scoreline.
Blackburn’s total of two goals scored in the first half on the road this season is also indicative of a low-scoring opening 45 minutes.
With this in mind, punters could take advantage of odds of 4/1 on a draw at half time and full time.
