Two sides seeking their first wins of the season meet at Craven Cottage on Sunday, with Fulham hosting Blackburn Rovers.
The Lilywhites opened their Premier League campaign with a 0-0 draw against Aston Villa but since then have suffered away-day defeats to Wolves and Newcastle.
Meanwhile, Blackburn have slumped to three consecutive losses to Wolves, Villa and Everton.
As the home side, it is perhaps understandable that it is Fulham who go into the match as favourites to break their winning duck.
Martin Jol’s men are priced at 13/20 to pick up all three points in bwin’s 3Way football betting market, with a draw at 12/5 and a Rovers victory at 19/4.
Much of this will be down to Blackburn’s poor recent showings away from Ewood Park.
Rovers avoided defeat just seven times in 19 games when on the road in the last campaign and their 3-1 away defeat to Villa last month suggests an upturn in fortunes is not yet on the cards.
Worryingly for Blackburn boss Steve Kean, his side conceded the most goals on the road in the entire division last season, with more than two goals a game let in on average.
With this in mind, Fulham look good bets to score at least two goals on Sunday at odds of 4/5.
However, given Blackburn have conceded three goals on each of their last two visits to Craven Cottage, a better bet could be on Fulham to score three or more goals at odds of 13/5.
A successful £25 free bet on Fulham to score three or more goals against Blackburn, available to new customers who sign up for a bwin account, would return £90.
Of equal concern for Kean is the fact that Blackburn’s misfiring attack – which has scored just two league goals this season – is up against a Fulham defence which kept nine clean sheets in the league last season.
Odds of 11/10 on Blackburn failing to score could therefore hold value, as could a 3-0 win for Fulham in the regular time goal bet market at odds of 11/1 based on the aforementioned stats.
