A quick look at the Premier League table gives little indication as to how tomorrow’s clash between Fulham and Blackpool will turn out.
The west London side currently sit in 12th place on 35 points, just two points ahead of the Tangerines, who lie 15th.
However, a closer inspection of the form guide suggests the safe money would appear to be on Mark Hughes’ men.
Craven Cottage has been a fortress since the turn of the year, with Fulham undefeated on home soil in 2011.
As such, the Cottagers are priced at 1/2 to extend that run against Ian Holloway’s side.
Fulham are also unbeaten in their last three clashes with Blackpool and have lost just once in 14 games against tomorrow’s opponents.
In fact, you have to go back as far as 1998 for the Bloomfield Road outfit’s last victory against Fulham and to 1986 for their last win in west London.
With just six points separating the bottom half of the table, the 100th meeting between the two sides represents a chance to move a step closer to Premier League survival.
Clint Dempsey is by far and away Fulham’s top scorer this term with 11 goals and is priced at 11/10 to score at any time against a side that has conceded in each of its last 13 games.
However, Charlie Adam, the Tangerines’ highly-coveted midfield star, will be looking to break into double figures and can be backed at 13/5 to find the back of the net at some point.
A £10 bet on the Scotsman to score at any time would return £36. New customers can register here to receive a £25 free bet.
