Nancy will be fighting for their Ligue 1 survival when they host already-relegated Lens on Sunday night.

Les Chardons currently find themselves in 17th place in the table, just one point clear of the drop zone, but know that victory will guarantee they retain their place in the top tier of French football for another season.

Pablo Correa’s men have found some form at exactly the right time, winning their past two matches to increase their chances of avoiding relegation.

They are strong favourites to extend that run against Lens. At 7/20, a successful £10 bet on Nancy at bwin.com will return £13.50.

Two successive wins over Lens – including a 5-1 demolition back in March 2010 – mean that Nancy will be confident of success on Sunday.

Youssouf Hadji was among the goals on that occasion and is the club’s top scorer this season, with the Moroccan international finding the net eight times in Ligue 1.

At 11/10, a bet on Hadji to strike at any time against Lens looks well worth a shout.

Having already been relegated, Lens have little to play for but will no doubt be looking to give their fans something to cheer about after a season that has provided more lows than highs.

Ligue 1 betting fans can get odds of 27/4 on Les Sang et Or to sign off from the top flight in style, meaning a £10 bet on Lens could bag winnings of £77.50.

Laszlo Boloni’s side have taken just five points from their last five games and have not beaten Nancy since November 2009.

Star striker Issam Jemaa will be hoping to fire Lens to victory by adding to his five goals in the 2010-11 campaign.

The Tunisian forward is available at 12/1 to score last, so a successful £10 bet on Jemaa will return £130.
