AFC Wimbledon v Dagenham and Redbridge
Home: 11/10 Draw: 23/10 Away: 21/10
Key Stat: The Dons have not won in seven league games.
Betting Tip: Daggers have only lost one of their last four outings and, given AFC Wimbledon’s poor run of form, I can see them getting something out of this game. Go for the draw at 23/10.
Bradford City v Oxford United
Home: 8/5 Draw: 2/1 Away: 8/5
Key Stat: Oxford are on an eight game unbeaten run.
Betting Tip: Bradford have not won in front of their home fans in five matches and could struggle to pick up a victory here too against an in-form Oxford. With the last four Bradford home games finishing 1-1, back a repeat at 19/4.
Gillingham v Crewe Alexandra
Home: 19/20 Draw: 23/10 Away: 5/2
Key Stat: Crewe have drawn their last four games.
Betting Tip: The Gills are rightly favourites for this won as they are on a four game winning streak but Crewe provide tough opposition. Three of Crewe’s last four games have ended 1-1 and you can get 21/4 on a fourth 1-1 draw for Steven Davis’ men.
Macclesfield Town v Crawley Town
Home: 18/5 Draw: 12/5 Away: 7/10
Key Stat: Both sides are without a win in six.
Betting Tip: You have to go back to last year for Macclesfield’s last victory in League Two but the Silkmen have drawn their last four. Both sides have struggled to score of late and this should be a low-scoring clash – take odds of 11/5 on their being under 1.5 goals in this one.
Morecambe v Hereford United
Home: 91/100 Draw: 23/10 Away: 27/10
Key Stat: Hereford haven’t won on their travels in five attempts.
Betting Tip: Morecambe will be full of confidence following their 3-1 win over Cheltenham in midweek and I see them winning this one comfortably. Back the Shrimps to win despite a one-goal handicap at 5/2.
Northampton Town v Aldershot Town
Home: 31/20 Draw: 11/5 Away: 31/20
Key Stat: The last five games involving Northampton have averaged over three goals a game.
Betting Tip: Two sides who have found the winning touch of late meet here and this should be a real goal-fest. Odds of 21/10 on there being over 3.5 goals are well worth a punt.
Port Vale v Barnet
Home: 83/100 Draw: 12/5 Away: 29/10
Key Stat: Vale have not lost in eight games, Barnet have not won in eight games.
Betting Tip: I really can’t see anything but an easy home win here. Back the Valiants to win despite a one-goal handicap at 21/10.
Rotherham United v Plymouth Argyle
Home: 7/10 Draw: 5/2 Away: 17/5
Key Stat: Rotherham have drawn four of their last five games.
Betting Tip: Three of those draws have finished 1-1 and while Plymouth have some momentum having only lost once in their last seven, I see this one ending in another score draw. The lead-draw is therefore very tempting at 7/2 in the run of play market.
Shrewsbury Town v Burton Albion
Home: 53/100 Draw: 13/5 Away: 5/1
Key Stat: Burton have not won a game in 12 matches.
Betting Tip: The Shrews are heavy favourites here and rightly so. I can’t see anything but a comfortable home win – back Graham Turner’s men to win despite a one-goal handicap at 3/2.
Southend United v Accrington Stanley
Home: 3/5 Draw: 13/5 Away: 4/1
Key Stat: Southend have kept clean sheets in their last two league games.
Betting Tip: Accrington have not won in six outings and could be in for a tough afternoon on the Essex coast. Southend are 13/10 to keep a clean sheet in this one.
Swindon Town v Cheltenham Town
Home: 4/5 Draw: 23/10 Away: 31/10
Key Stat: Swindon have only lost once at home all season.
Betting Tip: This should be the game of the weekend in League Two and Paolo Di Canio’s men can really take a grip of the League Two title with victory here. Swindon have been free-scoring all season and recent games involving Cheltenham haven’t exactly been short of attacking action either. This could be a goal fest – take odds of 11/5 on there being over 3.5 goals.
Torquay United v Bristol Rovers
Home: 4/5 Draw: 23/10 Away: 31/10
Key Stat: Torquay’s last six victories have been 1-0.
Betting Tip: The Gulls can move into an automatic promotion spot if results go their way this weekend and are strong favourites to win this clash. Backing Torquay to win 1-0 for the seventh straight victory at 23/4 is well worth a punt.
