After hitting the crossbar in midweek, we’re back with a weekend Goals Galore treble for Leagues One and Two and this time, we’re seeking goals from Tranmere Rovers, Preston North End, Notts County, Doncaster Rovers, AFC Wimbledon and Gillingham.
A frustrating 1-1 draw between Dagenham and Redbridge and Exeter City left us a solitary agonising goal short of landing a 5/1 winner on Tuesday, but we’re confident that the following three selections are fantastic bets to all go over 2.5 goals.
Punters registering with bwin can claim a free £20 bet and placing this on the games at Prenton Park, Meadow Lane and Kingsmeadow to all deliver three or more strikes would return £103.35 if successful.
Over 2.5 goals in Tranmere vs Preston North End @ 67/100
Tranmere are just about holding on to top spot in League One but despite their bubble seemingly being burst, they are still involved in matches full of goals.
Their first two defeats of the season came this week as they went down 3-1 at Bournemouth and then suffered a 2-1 home defeat against Doncaster.
Of course, both games therefore produced over 2.5 goals, as have three of Tranmere’s last four outings at home. Preston’s last game was a 3-2 win at Scunthorpe and their previous five away matches have all yielded over 2.5 goals.
Goals look a banker in this one and it should get our treble off to a flyer.
Over 2.5 goals in Notts County vs Doncaster @ 91/100
Notts County have been scoring and conceding goals for fun pretty much from the outset in August and this run can continue on Saturday.
In midweek, they drew 3-3 with Bournemouth at Meadow Lane, having recently shipped four against Sheffield United and scored four against Carlisle.
County have scored in all but two home games this season and four of the last five have featured three goals or more.
Donny will obviously pose a major threat from an attacking viewpoint after that impressive win at Tranmere and Dean Saunders’ men have found the net five times in their last three away matches.
Over 2.5 goals in AFC Wimbledon vs Gillingham @ 31/50
AFC Wimbledon have largely resembled a yo-yo team so far this season but their games are rarely devoid of goals.
Both teams have scored in their last six matches – with all but one of those producing three goals or more – and their latest home match was a 3-1 victory over Bristol Rovers on Tuesday.
Gillingham are the second highest scorers in League Two so far this season and have scored nine in their last three matches. Five of their last six games have produced over 2.5 goals and on the road, they have only failed to score once all season.
