Coventry City, Bradford City and Crawley Town are the three teams to watch for home wins in this Saturday’s League One and League Two action and should have no trouble is seeing off Walsall, Torquay United and Shrewsbury Town.
Having reviewed the tables, examined the form charts and chatted to the kit man, I’m feeling confident that these three teams should be backed at odds of nearly 11/2.
It could be the perfect excuse to use Bwin’s free £20 bet for registering, with returns of £113.22 available for those willing to take a chance.
Let’s get to the action.
Coventry to beat Walsall @ 4/5
Coventry have been flying of late and head into this one on a run of nine games unbeaten, including recent victories over Morecambe and also Sheffield United in the FA Trophy.
As a result, the Sky Blues should have little to fear from the arrival of visiting Walsall, who have picked up just a single win in their last 15 competitive matches.
A home victory looks assured at 4/5.
Crawley to beat Shrewsbury @ 7/10
While Crawley remain relatively inconsistent, Shrewsbury Town have been in woeful form of late, winning just one of their last nine matches.
The Shrews have been particularly poor on the road and head to Broadfield off the back of six consecutive away defeats.
The Hosts have meanwhile lost just one of their last seven home games and head into this one fresh from a morale-boosting 3-0 win over Chelmsford in the FA Cup.
Expect a home victory at 7/10.
Bradford City to beat Torquay @ 17/20
They may have been booted out of the FA Cup for fielding an ineligible player, but Bradford City remain a force to be reckoned with in League Two.
The Bantams have lost just two of their last 15 games at the Valley Parade and will be confident of turning over Torquay, having beaten the south coast club home and away last term.
In contrast, the visitors have claimed just two wins from their last 14 away matches, making a home victory at odds of 17/20 a good shout.
