This weekend we are back with another Goals Galore bet from League’s One and Two and after last week’s poor show of goals from sides such as Tranmere and Crewe, we will change tack slightly. On Saturday, we will be looking for goals from MK Dons, Yeovil, Preston North End, Crawley Town, Exeter City and York City.
This week’s over 2.5 goals treble tip will return at odds of 53/10 with bwin, which could provide winnings of £126 for anyone using their free £20 bet when registering to back our selections.
Over 2.5 goals in MK Dons vs Yeovil @ 3/4
MK Dons have won their last three home matches, scoring two goals in each in the process. They have only kept one clean sheet in their last five matches so high-flying Yeovil are sure to get chances and based on their previous matches, these are chances they will take. In their last three on the road, the Glovers have scored ten goals, winning all three games. Three of Yeovil’s last four matches have produced over 2.5 goals and it would be no surprise if that record was extended this weekend.
Over 2.5 goals in Preston North End vs Crawley @ Evens
Preston have started the season well and have won their last two home matches, with both games producing over 2.5 goals (including a 4-1 win over Swindon). Crawley have also had a good opening period and are currently sitting pretty on nine points, despite getting hammered 3-0 by Swindon and Portsmouth, albeit after ending the latter game with nine men. They have also won 3-0 already this season, at home against Scunthorpe on the first day of the new campaign, but with their two suspensions they may go down to a high-scoring defeat here. As long as there are the expected three goals or more, we don’t really care!
Over 2.5 goals in Exeter vs York City @ 4/5
Exeter have played twice at home this season and both games have finished in a 3-0 scoreline, once in victory over Burton and once in defeat against Morecambe. The Grecians are a shoo-in for this column at the moment as all five of their League Two matches this season have produced three goals or more. Encouragingly, the same is true of York, whose 2-2 draw with Chesterfield last weekend means they are also yet to feature in game containing less than three goals in the bottom tier so far this term. The fixture computer appears to have cooked up a perfect storm from a Goals Galore perspective with this clash and its inclusion in the treble is a no-brainer.
