Another Saturday means another chance to land a Goals Galore treble bet and this week we are looking to Crawley Town, Walsall, Scunthorpe United, Notts County, Burton Albion and Dagenham & Redbridge to do the business.
Punters registering with bwin can claim a free £20 bet and placing this on the three matches outlined below to all deliver over 2.5 goals would provide returns of £105 if successful.
Read on to see why all three selections can be backed up with strong statistical arguments.
Over 2.5 goals in Crawley vs Walsall @ 67/100
First up we go to League One for a match involving a Crawley side who are strong on home soil. They have scored in all but one game at the Broadfield Stadium this season and have netted 11 times in their last five outings on their own patch, also (helpfully for us) conceding nine goals in that time.
Walsall have scored in their last two away from home and in six of their eight matches on the road. Even if the Saddlers can only net once in this one, you feel Crawley will score at least a couple and take us over the 2.5 goals barrier.
Over 2.5 goals in Scunthorpe vs Notts County @ 4/5
Scunthorpe have picked up wins in their last two away matches – a 2-1 victory at followed by a 4-1 success at Walsall – with both games obviously meeting the over 2.5 goals criteria.
But before that, the Iron lost 3-0 and 3-2 against MK Dons and Preston respectively, so it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to work out that their games normally guarantee goals.
Notts County’s matches are hardly devoid of the odd goal or two either (22 in eight away games so far). They have won their last four matches on the road, scoring ten goals in the process, and it isn’t unreasonable to think this game could have more goals than the number of runs the England cricket team manage in the first Test against India.
Over 2.5 goals in Burton vs Dagenham and Redbridge @ 3/4
Burton were in midweek action on Thursday beating Altrincham in an FA Cup first-round replay and have scored in their last seven home matches.
The Brewers have also picked up big wins at the Pirelli Stadium such as 6-2 and 4-1 (over AFC Wimbledon and Oxford United respectively) so based on the season so far, they will certainly get on the scoresheet at least once.
Dag & Red won 3-2 against Oxford in their last away match, while before that they lost by the same scoreline at York City.
Their last four away matches have produced all over 2.5 goals and their most recent three have yielded over 3.5, so we should be seeing another match of three goals or more here to complete our treble.
