Championship leaders Southampton travel to Leicester this weekend in search of their 11th consecutive league victory.
Saints have had a tremendous start to the new season following their promotion from League One last term and at 37/20, many football betting fans will fancy them to continue their magnificent run, with the draw at 9/4.
Leicester, 7/1 to win the Championship, spent big in the summer and, after a slow start to the season which sees them in 15th place, will be seeking a much- needed victory at the King Power Stadium on Saturday.
Saints, on the other hand, have picked up maximum points from their opening four games of the season and this trip will be a true test of their title credentials.
Leicester are yet to pick up a point at home this season after losses to Reading and Bristol City, conceding two goals in both games.
With this in mind, odds of 13/1 on a 2-0 Southampton win – or even 19/2 for a 2-1 triumph – could prove tempting for football betting fans looking to back a free-scoring Saints side that put five past Ipswich on their last away day.
Both sides have squads capable of mounting serious title challenges this year and will be well matched when they meet on Saturday.
This also makes the odds of a 1-1 draw (21/4) very tempting for punters who think that little will seperate the sides. Along the same lines, the 2-2 draw at 40/1 could attract plenty of interest.
In what is likely to be a tight fixture, one goal may make the difference and a £25 free bet, given to anyone joining bwin.com, on there being a single goal in the game would return winnings of £125.
