Cardiff City regained a ten-point lead at the top of the Championship after a narrow victory over Leeds United at Elland Road on Saturday afternoon.
Their lead had been cut to seven points following second-placed Leicester City’s win over struggling Wolverhampton Wanderers two days previously, but Fraizer Campbell’s debut goal sees the Bluebirds, who have lost just once in 14 league games, go in to just 4/11 to lift the league trophy and 1/25 to be promoted.
Leicester remain second favourites for promotion at 1/2, ahead of third-placed Hull City, who are now 2/1 having won at Millwall.
Watford’s 2-1 win over Bolton Wanderers keeps them in fourth position, just a point behind the automatic promotion places, and you can back them to make a return to the Premier League after a six-year absence at odds of 9/4.
Crystal Palace stay in fifth following their come-from-behind victory over rivals Charlton Athletic and are a 3/1 shot for promotion, with Middlesbrough drifting to 7/2 after being thumped 4-0 at Ipswich Town.
Brighton and Hove Albion are next in the market at 12/1, despite defeat to Sheffield Wednesday, while 12th-placed Leeds can be backed at the same price.
A quote of 12/1 is also on offer for Blackburn Rovers, who are up to 13th following their 2-0 win over Bristol City.
Burnley, who are a point closer to the play-offs after sharing the spoils with Peterborough United, are generously priced at 20/1 for promotion along with Derby County, whose win over Huddersfield Town lifted them to ninth place, and Nottingham Forest, who drop a place to 11th after defeat at Birmingham City.
