Derby County travel to Coventry City flying high in the Championship after winning four of their opening five games and look great value at 7/4 to win again here.
The Sky Blues, on the other hand, are yet to pick up a win this season and have left their fans bitterly disappointed at home.
Coventry are 29/20 to pick up their first win of the season against Derby and if you fancy the draw it’s available at 11/5.
Derby have won both their away games this year 1-0, against Watford and
Blackpool. They have the tightest defence in the league, conceding only three goals so far this campaign.
Andy Thorn’s men, meanwhile, have had a miserable time at home and are yet to find the net in front of their own supporters so I fancy County for the win here.
Out of the eight goals Derby have bagged this season, three have been in the first half, whereas Coventry haven’t found the net before the break yet.
Therefore Derby to score first looks very appealing at 23/20, as does Derby to win the first half, which is priced at 5/2.
Taking into account Derby’s brilliant defensive record and City’s impotent displays at the Ricoh Arena thus far, it might be worth considering Derby to win to nil, available on bwin.com at 18/5.
Coventry have only scored twice this year and I can’t see them adding to that tally
against a well-organised Rams back line.
For punters who fancy a correct score market I would be looking at Derby
to record their third 1-0 away win in a row.
Although Coventry have been poor this season, they have only conceded more than once on one occasion – away at Crystal Palace.
Derby to win 1-0 is available at football betting odds of 29/4 so punters who fancy it can use the free £25 bet for joining bwin.com and would win a lovely £206.25 if the result comes in.
